Feeding program
Feeding the vulnerable children and elderly making sure no one goes hungry, thus stopping hunger providing nutritious food that prevents diseases.
Education Program
Education can strengthen significant improvements in the lives of vulnerable children, we provide education facilities and school fees to vulnerable children.
Skills Training program
We provide skills training, to vulnerable children and teenage mother, like tailoring, weaving, catering, agriculture to create employment opportunities.

Our urgent needs for the children & Elderly

Food
Hunger kills, we provide food to over 300 Children & 100 elderly people, Our meals provide proper nutrition improving their general health. $ 300 per day
02.
School Fees
Education is key to success we take over 100 children to school, paying school fees and providing school materials like books, pens, bags and many more.
03.
Shelter (Rent)
We provide shelter to orphans, street children and homeless kids, we rent a place currently at $300 per month but our plan is to buy land and build a children's home, please check our plans and budgets below.
04.
Medical care
Everyone deserves a right to medication, we provide medical care to vulnerable children and elderly people, we use $ 2000 per month.

Volunteer Opportunities
1. DAY VOLUNTEER
This free day volunteer opportunity all ages, groups and individuals. You can come to the children home an take part in one of the day activities the most popular being our dinner serving in the evening which includes playing with the children, serving dinner and tour of the home
2. TEACHING ENGLISH
Teaching English in underprivileged or rural communities can be an exceptionally rewarding experience for a volunteer with many advantages for the community and students.
3. COMMUNITY WORK
If you are an active individual and want to help with a range of tasks, our general Community Development projects are a great way to get involved and make a real difference.Volunteers add new value to WCDF and bring in new ideas to our community development work
4. TAILORING AND EMBROIDERY
The volunteers role is to supporting local woman to develop basic skills in embroidery, dress making and how to use a sewing machine for different creative projects. Sewing class is one of our major class we offer teenage mothers
5. ART AND CRAFT VOLUNTEER
This program is very much important because it aims at empowering the children especially the girl child,the women and the entire community to be self reliant and productive using the locally available materials to make local handcraft that can be sold within the Jinja and online
6. PROFFESIONAL OR REMOTE VOLUNTEERS
If you have specialist skills, the team can create a bespoke volunteering placement for you and maximize your impact. This includes builders, carpenters, mechanics, electricians, doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, management and marketing specialists
